For Cates birthday, (after the sunrise) we headed out to Lake louise. Unfortunately in high summer mid-day is packed so we chose to go to Bow Lake instead. We tried out our inflatable canoe in the COLD turquoise glacial waters. It held up fine!
Later we went to dinner at Ticino, a Swiss Italian restaraunt in Banff. Cate got her fondue and a bison lasagna! Was great!
The next day I took a 10 mile bike ride and Cate painted at lake Vermillion, we then hung out at lake minnewanka, climbed up to an awesome waterfall,and drove around sightseeing.
